"Looking skywards knows no bounds" - This exhibition of photographs of Melbourne, exploring the counterpoint between contemporary and historic architecture, particularly redirects our view upwards from the mundane street level.
These images invite us to share in a different point of view, and to get very close to the details, textures and patinas. A vantage point usually the exclusive province of the birds.
Mostly exteriors, this collection of works also sought a unique point of view to some of Melbourne's most beautiful public building interiors.
The BIG Picture Exhibition featured prints 3m x 1.8m were originally exhibited in the Melbourne International Arts Festival. They are now in the collection of Museum Victoria.
